In the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022, the tech giant Apple has unveiled the completely revamped MacBook Air and an updated 13-inch M Pro, both powered by the brand new M2 chip.
M2 Specifications
With a brand-new, stunningly thin design, and greater performance, MacBook Air features a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, an 10-80p FaceTime HD camera as well as an audio system with four speakers. The M2 is currently available in four different finishes that include silver, space gray midnight and starlight.
“We are so excited to bring our new M2 chip to the world’s two most popular laptops — the M2 and 13-inch Macbook Pro,” Greg Joswiak the Apple’s senior vice-president for Worldwide Marketing, said in an announcement.
M2 is also available for 13.2-inch MacBook Pro, the world’s second most popular laptop offering astounding performance, as much as 24GB of unifying memory ProRes performance, up twenty hours battery life all within a small and compact size.
The brand new M2 and updated 13-inch MacBook Pro join the even more powerful 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max to round out the most powerful collection of Mac notebooks that have ever been offered. The laptops will be on sale from the beginning of next month.

M2 is with the new generation of Apple’s M-series chip and enhances the impressive capabilities of the M1.
MacBook Air with M2 starts at 119,900, and 110,900 to support education. In contrast, the MacBook Pro with 13 inches MacBook Pro with M2 starts at Rs 129,900 and the 119,900 price for schooling.
