The digital calendar app and diary app has been launching by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Shree Javadekar Prakash. Moreover the digital calendar app and diary application is currently available in English and Hindi. They are going to be launch in fifteen other languages soon. Unveiling of GOI Calendar App :
The unveiling ceremony was held at the National Media Center. Where Union Minister Javadekar Prakash, at the press of a button, unveiled the Android and iOS mobile applications of Calendar and Diary.

Head of Press Information Bureau K.S. Dhatwalia told PTI that seven crore Rupees was spent on printing these calendars and diaries last year, but this point the expenditure incurred by the ministry was on the brink of Two crore Rupees because the government was going digital. GOI Calendar App is Free:

About the diary feature of the application, Prakash Javdekar said, “Due to the diary feature, digital calender is being more advanced, more convenient and easier than other digital calendar apps.”

GOI Calendar App Features :
It is currently available in Hindi and English and will soon be available in fifteen other Indian regional languages, the ministry said.

On Friday, the Ministry of data and Broadcasting launched a digital calendar and diary for 2021, saying it might save about Rs 5 crore in calendar printing costs. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that each year we print 1.1 million calendars and 90,000 diaries but this year it’s in digital format. Javadekar said the application would meet the need for a new calendar lender every year. Each month a topic are going to be set and messages are going to be given and an excellent man are going to be mentioned. The application also will inform the people about the beginning timeline of varied government programs.
Will be available in fifteen languages from 15th January.
